Plug fans are usually employed for re-circulation within oven applications. The plug and impellor fit into a square opening cut into wall of the customer’s oven. The casing and inlet are mounted from the inside of the oven. This allows the impellor / plug unit to be withdrawn from the oven without disturbing any equipment.
This arrangement has an impellor mounted directly onto the motor shaft. The hub is extended and protrudes though the plug section. Maximum air temperature is 350ºC (100mm plug depth). Higher temperatures can be accommodated on request
