These arrangements have the impellor directly mounted onto the motor shaft. The motor sits on on adjustable platform. The casing is flanged at both ends, the flanges are produced by spin forming from 1 piece of metal.
These casings are usually employed at the end of ducting runs. The impellor is contained within the casing, however the end of motor and supports protrude past the end of the casing. They can be supplied with optional inlet bellmouths and guards.
This fan can also be supplied without a terminal box:
Ancillaries such as spigot flanges, inlet bellmouths, casing feet and flexible connections are also available. RHF can offer non standard arrangements/special fans.
